Work in Progress

This is my travelling frame, 6"x9", which will fit four (two on the front and two on the reverse) of the small tapestries for Portsmouth Cathedral. It means that each day's weaving can be cut off, boxed and the book made ready for display the next day. It also means a great saving of warp!

The first one is for Peter Newman, Australian winner of the 200m Silver at the 1968 Olympics; an unsung hero of the Civil Rights movement, he died in 2006 but was not honoured by the Australian government until 2012.
